Hypnotherapy & NLP

Have you often said to yourself, I would like to have the motivation to go to the gym, feel more confident at public-speaking conferences or would like to stop smoking, but are not sure where to start?

If so, then hypnotherapy using neuro-linguistic programming could be for you.

Anxiety, Confidence, Fears and Phobias, Relaxation, Motivation, Smoking, Stress and Weight Management are just a few aspects of our lifestyle that we can change.

By using deep hypnotic techniques with guidance, this will allow the conscious mind to quieten and the subconscious mind to open, enabling communication to take place.

It is within the subconscious mind where the understanding of emotional attachments and the re-programming of behaviour patterns takes place.

Or maybe you would like to learn how to relax alongside a busy schedule?

What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming?

NLP is a continually expanding compilation of awareness, comprehension and insight into how and why we ‘tick’ in the way that we do, on every level.

It allows us to maximise our personal potential; communicate more effectively, improve our lifestyle, manage our behaviours, moods and thoughts more effectively, to think more clearly and minimise the stress we can have at times in our life.

NLP methods and techniques work effectively and simply in the subconscious mind.

 How does NLP work?

If we equate the subconscious mind to a computer, the computer has a hard drive which contains many different files, each one having its own purpose in order for the computer to function efficiently.  If one of the files is not working properly, the computer will not perform to its best ability.

We telephone the IT engineer who fixes the problem and everyone is happy again!

From the moment we are born, we will have many different life experiences, which will assist in the programming of our behavioural patterns.

Attached to our life experiences are our emotions, how we felt at the time of the situation. Coupled together, each event or experience is then stored in our subconscious mind. Only to be observed by our behaviour, how we feel or how we think.

Using relaxation methods, we are able to connect with the subconscious mind to look at an experience or an emotional attachment; using NLP techniques we are able to understand it, let it go and then re-program the behaviour pattern. We too are now feeling happier.

My simple analogy:

You are stung by a bee; you put anointment on it to stop it hurting,
you then take the sting out, ouch it hurts! Then with a little time it heals.
